One family had lived in an old mansion for over ten years and all its members suffered from strange noises. The events took place inside and also at the back of the house, where there was a small private cemetery belonging to former residents.
The property had been acquired for a very small amount even for the time, but it was not its precarious state of conservation that most influenced it. The buyer had been informed about some events related to the mansion that had once belonged to illustrious people, but were practically in ruins.
Without revealing some secrets to the family, which would be discovered over time in the worst possible way, the bricklayer assistant had no choice but to close the deal.
The couple's eldest daughter had mysteriously disappeared a long time ago and her room had been locked with two strong padlocks by her father. No one could enter that place or mention his name or ask what had happened that terrifying night.
The middle daughter, who had argued with her father on the night of her sister's disappearance, has lived in a distant city since then and had never returned home, even though she missed her family very much.
The youngest daughter, the only one who still lived in the mansion and was unable to move, was often plagued by many noises and some bizarre events.
Their repeated nightmares came to coincide with a fantasy reality and, often, with facts related to the three brothers buried in the enigmatic cemetery at the back of the mansion, whose tombs were strangely lined and pointed to the attic.
Visions of the remote past have shown a way in this tangle of sinister events, but perhaps it was already too late. There was no escape from fate, which seemed to be getting closer and closer to that humble family.

Fascinated by the enigmatic vampire, perhaps not even the loss of two very close people or the love of the ever-loving mother could divert Emanuele from Oliver and the path traced while they loved each other under the breeze of the ocean and the moonlight.
- A train at dawn
A frail young woman, wearing a very short and somewhat low-cut red dress, quickly crossed the promenade of the town of Canoas towards the metro train station. Amid a strong wind and several thunders that shook all around her, she heard some very sad poems.
Recited by a drunken man who was sitting near the station, the verses and the chords of an out-of-tune guitar spoke of longing and tragedy. However, perhaps his morbid poetry had more meaning than it seemed, but he tried to rescue a past in which he had been happy, had a job and, above all, free from alcohol addiction.
Moments later, strong footsteps began to echo through the train station, leaving Milena very frightened. However, it was unlikely that the drunken poet, who could hardly stand up from the cold, hard asphalt, caused the deafening noise.
Finally arriving at the platform just before midnight, the seventeen-year-old girl did not even know if she was going to be on a train or if she needed to wait in that frightening spot until dawn, when she was able to return to her parents' house.
By the time the train came scratching the steel wheels over the dark and icy tracks, the girl was a little more relieved. More frightening, however, than realizing that he was going in the opposite direction to what she wanted, was to see that a sinister man appeared menacingly at the top of the escalator.
His footsteps continued to echo through the deserted station, but now the man dressed in black was beginning to descend the escalator. The train bound for Porto Alegre finally arrived, causing the desperate girl to run towards her.
However, the fact that the doors insisted on opening did not indicate that a dawn of terror, but also of new discoveries, was just beginning.
After a few endless seconds, the train began to move, leaving on the shadowy platform the man who inexplicably carried a photograph of the young woman in his hands.
Safe apparently, Milena was still unaware of all the dangers that surrounded her and, above all, ignored the good and bad things that fate had reserved for her.

This book is dedicated to Billy, a little poodle who left us on January 7th, 2020, after having kept us company for sixteen long and happy years.
Worthy of tributes much bigger than a children's story, the puppy that was almost a little person will be revered with other works soon.
The story tells of the real friendship that was born between him and a kitten, in addition to some fictional passages. In addition to a second volume talking about the match, I will launch a book on the dog's full life.
Wherever you are, Billy, know that we still love you and that we miss you very much, your beautiful face, your unique way, the affection that we may never feel coming from another little animal.

- A new star in the sky
Following the story “The white dog and the black cat”, Billy tries to say goodbye to his friend Gum before traveling to the beach with his humans, but one of they only speaks the language of dogs, while the other only understands what the cat says.
The dog has a lot of fun on the beach, but he misses his friend who stayed in the city. In turn, the cat also misses the dog and spends several times a day in front of his house.
Now sixteen years old, Billy becomes ill and is taken to a veterinary clinic. When the dog's humans return from vacation, the cat sees that his friend's shipping box is empty and stay very concerned.
One night, while lying on the roof of a house in front of Billy's house, Gum looks at the sky and a little star in particular draws his attention. So, he finally understands what happened to his little friend.
